Topic description:Dr. Boilen shifts the ‘human factors’ conversation away from decision making and into the realm of perception, sense-making, and communication. Drawing upon the social and behavioral science literature, she will convince the audience that we can and should do better when it comes to being humans in avalanche terrain.
